Welcome to the 59th Nordic Congress of Radiology and 20th Nordic Congress of Radiography web pages!

The theme of the congress is

"Lifelong Imaging: from Prevention to Patient Centered Care".

To justify this theme, we whish to emphasize the special needs for the young and the elderly in imaging. In addition, it is our opinion that our future success in imaging will depend not only on imaging of disease, but also on how we can prevent it.

The emphasis shall be on the patient: more specific care is needed, and radiology and radiogaphy will provide some important tools for that task. These themes will run throughout the sessions and will provide us some new insights into medical imaging.
